
Immigrant Union is a Melbourne-based psychedelic folk/country band formed around 2010 by Brent DeBoer of The Dandy Warhols and Bob Harrow of Lazy Sons.
A blend of alt-country, folk, and psychedelic rock, often compared to Neil Young or a "dreamy" mix described as Spiritualized being baptised in river of Creedence Clearwater.
Known for a dreamy, melodic sound, they released albums Immigrant Union (2012) and Anyway (2015), with a third album, Judas, released in 2020 with an eagerly awaited new release in the works.
Founded after a chance meeting at Melbourne’s Cherry Bar in 2004, later solidified when DeBoer moved to Australia. Juggling duties with their other Melbourne based band Super American Eagle, The band often navigates a trans-Pacific existence, with DeBoer splitting time between Portland, Oregon, and Melbourne
